  1. Sheldon: a very crisp and smooth line quality in your animation. I liked the ending surfing sequence . I think it was different to see multiple walk cycles with the starfish. Very smooth transformation. The only think that bothered me was the starfish, it seemed a little flat feeling to me maybe the use of thicker lines could have gave it more fullness.

  2. Your animation is chock full of nice, clean lines, which I like a lot. It looks professional and the transformation's transition is excellent. I think the starfish was a great choice for the object the pumpkin would change into. The thing I would most like to be changed is the shape of the starfish itself. I don't know how quite to describe it, but if I didn't know it was a starfish, I may think it was just some sort of creature. I keep watching it, and I think that that may be because the shape of the extremities comes back in where they all connect in the center... the shape of it doesn't look enough like the shape of a real starfish. It's hard for me to put into words. The other thing that I think could make your animation better would be to put in some more details on the starfish and pumpkin. I think you're going for clean lines, but the waves at the end show just what I mean. I love the waves and the little circles that come up - ocean splashing, etc. Those details added to the waves make it a lot more interesting, and I would love to see that on the pumpkin and starfish too.

  3. I really like the concept of you video. Who thinks of turning a pumpkin into at starfish? The pumpkin is very well illustrated and i love the fact that the starfish sails away on a surfboard at the end. However, I feel like the starfish walks a little slow. When I first watched it transform i thought that it was going to dance.

  4. Sheldon... the first thing that grabbed me about your animation is your use of clean lines. I also like how you chose to have the pumpkin roll in fast but slowed down the transformation process. As the starfish was walking away I did think "its not just going to walk all the way is it?" but then you surprised me and it surfed away! haha! nice touch! The only thing I might change is to have a source for the water instead of it just appearing... maybe rain or it could be the inside material of the pumpkin? Overall I was really impressed by your work!
