The use of color did tie the two objects together. Like my piece, I feel the transitions were a bit choppy. I would also like to see more use of the squash technique on the bottle to make it seem more believable. I do like your concept and hope that you can work on it further to create a smoother animation. =)
I really like the way the bottle bounce, i think it will be interesting if the bottle have some kind of design on it. maybe when the bottle bounce the shadow changes. wish to see more of the frog jummpin. the frog just jump off the page couldnt see much of the leg movements. maybe add few more frames for the transformation.
I like how clean and simple your lines are drawn on the bottle, and the frog is a little more organic. Some of the shading on the bottle is bothersome, like on the bottom, there is a random grey line that doesn't look natural, but either way the grey creates a nice shape. I wish I could have seen the frog move a little more. At first I thought the bottle was going to be the only thing on the screen, and I was waiting to see what it would change into, so the only thing I would change is a little less bottle, a little more frog.
I like how the shadows create a better sense of depth in the objects. Also your lines were very clean which enhanced the overall piece. I would have liked to see more of a squash and stretch when the bottle was bouncing up and down. Also a few extra frames to convey the transformation into the frog would have made the transformation a little better. I also agree that the frog should have been on the stage a little longer so we can see more movement in it. Overall it was a good piece, just a few adjustments can make it a great one.
