Brim I believe that your illustration techniques are incredibly strong. This piece has a lot of depth to it encompassing perspective in space. There are a couple things that do bother me about the piece and they are nit picky at best. The Grim Reaper needs to be slowed down. He passes by all too quickly. And I think his motion could have been explored more. The likelihood of the figure appearing and traveling the same path every couple seconds is unbelievable. What happens when the figure goes off of the stage? I think it should turn and come back the way it just came. Almost like it is pacing the room above the gravestone bed. I think adding this element to your piece would have brought some clarity to the whole idea that we all know we are going to die at some point and death is waiting for us. I wish the prayer had been fully typed out as well on the gravestones. Having the dot dot dot's on there took away from the power of that message. The burning book was a bit ambiguous as well. You told us in class that it was the Bible. I think the book should have had some typographical element on it stating that it was the Bible. That would have made it a more significant piece. Overall, your work is amazing. I wish I had your vision for animation and illustration. It's a talent I never developed.
The graphic is really good ^^. I think it will be nice if the book is a button, catch on fire when I click on it. The corner button beside the bed is a little hard to find. It will be interesting if the head on the ground is a button too. I really like the wall bricks, it really give a good contracts for the whole picture. The bottom of the flow have a white line when it change color. the mud around the head is different color, not sure if that's your intention or not. As you already know, if you could just slow down the grim ripper will be nice, or maybe you can make it come out from another direction.
